Schematic and routing tool for Linux


I am plannig to migrate to Linux, andI'm looking for an Linux design tool. Any suggestions?

I previosly used Eagle and OrCad on Windows...

Hi,
there is also a linux version of Mentor Expedition. I can recommend it (features are similar to allegro, but the usage is more intuitive).

hi!!!

there is a eagle version for Linux, and also you have all the mentor graphics software, if you are using a debian version of linux in a nonfree source list you can get eagle.

Mentor and Cadence are very expensive. Also keep that in mind.

Kicad runs on Linux and it's freeware

if you are an expert use cadence, Synopsys or mentor software which are available for Linux/Unix platforms, otherwise, use othe elementary softwares which are usually availabe free.
