I am plannig to migrate to Linux, andI'm looking for an Linux design tool. Any suggestions?
I previosly used Eagle and OrCad on Windows...

Hi,
there is also a linux version of Mentor Expedition. I can recommend it (features are similar to allegro, but the usage is more intuitive).

hi!!!
there is a eagle version for Linux, and also you have all the mentor graphics software, if you are using a debian version of linux in a nonfree source list you can get eagle.

| if you are an expert use cadence, Synopsys or mentor software which are available for Linux/Unix platforms, otherwise, use othe elementary softwares which are usually availabe free.
