Hi folks,
I need your help in the following issue.
While creating Netlist in ORCAD, the following error is occured
"[XLS0006]Unknown exception"
Pls help me to solve this issue.

You must mean XLT0009 - there should be no such error as XLS0009 - here is what I've found:
[XLT0009] Translate caught an unknown Microsoft Exception
The [XLTnnnn] messages are translation errors and warnings. Each of these messages may be caused by more than one type of problem,
but end up with the same result. In general, you should check to make sure that all files you work with are not read-only or
corrupted. For parts, pins, nets, and properties, check that you are using valid character names. If Capture is unable to create
new objects or documents, or if Capture is unable to allocate memory for a task, check to see if you have sufficient system
resources for Capture. You may need to close down applications that you are not using.

I've gotten the error [XLT0009]
I've figured out the following.
A fellow co-worker had created the DSN using Orcad 15.7
I'm still running at 9.
The DSN opens and views fine in 9.
DRC completed as well.
But I got the error when trying to create the NETLIST for LAYOUT.
I thought there was an issue with a NET, so I decided to take the 4 schematic pages and make them all on one. Once I did that, Orcad (9) would not let me delete the other 3 schematic pages. In fact, it would cause an error and shut it down.
But as soon as I noticed the DSN was originally created in 15.7, I then opened the DSN in 15.7. Now the NETLIST could be created without errors.
Once in 15.7, I also noticed I could delete schematic pages without a program fault.
The wierd part is, when I went back to Orcad9 and opened the DSN again, it would now let me create the NETLIST??? I didn't get the error.
All I can assume is,
Since the DSN was created in 15.7, I need to open it on 15.7 on my machine first.
From there, I could what I want in Orcad9.
Wierd!
