Dear Wendy,

I am using a simcom GSM/GPRS module

I need to establish a GPRS connection
I did the following

AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","WAP.VODAPHONE.COM.EG"
OK
AT+CSTT="WAP.WADAPHONE.COM.EG","WAP","WAP"
OK
and when trying the CIICR command I get this error

AT+CIICR
ERROR

+PDP: DEACT

I can't understand what's the problem , could you help me override this problem PLS.?

If there's any application note or steps of AT commands to establish a GPRS connection to send data to a web server , this will help me very much

in command below the WAP.WADAPHONE.COM.EG is wrong.
AT+CSTT="WAP.WADAPHONE.COM.EG","WAP","WAP"
you must inter your apn. for example the apn in iran is "mtnirancell"
