| I think Mentor Graphics provides PADS for doing such jobs.

You can go for Allegro from Cadence. This has the ablity to design schematic, do analysis then design the layout. In layout also you can do Siganl Integrity analysis and then generate manufacturable outputs whcih can be again imported into Allegro for viewing or you can extract ODB++ output which can be viewed in Valor universal viewer.

From the view of Electronics manufacturer, I saw a lot of CAD files such as gencad...
I use emTestexpert for design tester (FABMASTER). However, I still looking for the software. Because I did not see the dowload like. Anybody, have information about this?

hi all,
what about eagle?? you can draw schematic and make a board for that schematic with its autorouter.you will get your pcd with no effort from your side using the auto-router.
although the free version of eagle has some little restriction about the board size, but you can do almost all jobs.
also express-pcb is ther. this software is really free. you can draw schematic and design pcb using it.

There is a very good and low cost software package named as DIPTRACE. i am using the same and very much satisfied with it, the library of component is very good, and specially autorouter of diptrace is very good.

You may use System Designer from Zuken. It contains several module.
System Designer for Creating Circuit.
Board Designer for PCB Layout and Gerber Making and Editing
EMI for EMC/EMI
It is very expensive, I do not know your boss will approve the budget to buy it.
But I think it is difficult to find it outside. even in bla..bla..bla..website.
I tried for 2-3 years... but I still cannot find the copy of this software.
I just use it in my office.
Let me know if someone has the source.
Alternatively, you may try @ltium DXP (previously ..P*otel).
It is the good software too.

There is a very good and easy software
the name of the software is (EasyPc )
this is dos based software but run all windows 95.98.2000.and XP
This has the ablity to design schematic, do analysis then design the layout
i will use this software with in 10 yaer its nice
try it

You can search to google by simply write " Kban ", You can try it.

I find that "Eagles PCB" is easy to use.
"P*otel DXP" is not bad as well.

It is actually good, but U need to pay for it and is not cheap.
I might recommend a freeware called Eagle.

I know these two:
1) From _Altium: The latest version is _Altium Designer 6.6
2) From Cadance: The Latest version is Allegro 15.7
It seems that these two are the largest software to design, simulate and manufacture analog and digital electronic circuit and PCB.

In the case of the commercial tools could anyone of you please tell us how much one is paying per license per year.
Maybe we could make a list with the approximate prices that people are paying for each of the proposed softwares.
In this way we can evaluate the amount of money that one has to invest to start working.

There are all in
"NI.Circuit.Design.Suite.Pro.v10.0"
powerful prg, wich I learning now.
And where are yoir choice, xischaune?

what u want to do exactly.
Becuase every software design hv some positive points in one particular field.
how many layer pcb u want to make. Whether it is with or withour copper fill?
Like this give more info about ur needs, then u will get better response.

i used the P*otel 99SE and the DIPTRACE for schematic and pcb designs. it is very useful in creating a gerber file. you may also try the DIPTrace schematic and pcb software. It comes a freeware version.
download it at www.diptrace.com
pick the with library format.
