hi.. im taking up BS-ECE (electronics and communication engineer), im a graduating student,,, and im having a hard time formulating a project proposal... huhu! pls help...
i wna be a communication or network engineer sumtym.... that's why i prefer havin an udergraduate paper abwt it.....
i have in mind a retransmittr.. its a transciever to amplify signals in areas where the attenuation on signals recieved by cellphones are low.... a wireless repeater it might be... also it would be able to send to shadowed areas where the signals are lost due to diffraction...
its just so discourging b'coz, iv serchd the web n i found similar items bein sold.. they'r called cellphone antennas...
what do i do... pls help.... i need ideas of project that scopes a network engineer or communiction engineer... )

Hi azsh,
I went through a site alternativewireless.com and a product direct connect power booster.
I personally feel it is quite a challenge to actually design a repeater with specifications like that.
I understand that it is not entirely new. My suggestion is not to get discouraged that some product you conceptualised is already available in the market, as it serves no purpose.
You can either come up with a radicle new idea. For which ofcourse u should have time. Given the current academic limitations if you dont get a compleltely new go ahead with any good project of your choice and implement in the best possible way.
Most importantly do not stop thinking about new ideas.

tnx.. that's nice to hear...
um,, wat could posibly a communication or network engineer be doing in work? any ideas?? i wna formulate my project considering those... because i have also done my OJT(on the job training) in a Networking company.. that's why i have more or less knowledge about networking and communication... still i cant find innovative ideas that feels right...
