I am doing BTECH
we have a unique circullum in our college where we study IT ,ECE till 2nd year...
With a choice to make between IT,DSP,VSLI in the 3rd year.
I am interested in chossing the ECE stream.
I am interested in both DSP(had BCS--->Basic of Communication System in 2nd year 2nd Sem dealing wid AM FM PM Noise...) n VLSI(had SSD--->Solid State Devices dealing wid working of PN junction MOSFET ,MIS ,BJT).
I observed dat I am equally interested in both of these but have to choose only one...VLSI or DSP
If I take DSP we read in our elective the following
1) Digital Signal Processing
2)Radio Frequency Engineering
3)Advanced Digital Signal Processing
4) Digital Communication(Core course shld take it)
5) Modern Communication Systems(Core course shld take it)
While if we choose VLSI we have these
1) Introduction to VLSI Circuits
2) Materials Science(Guess it comes under VLSI)
3) Digital VLSI Design
4)Laboratory in VLSI
Plase help me choose between them.Also plz Tell abt the future like better doing MS ..and the Job oppurtunities in them.
