It is difficult to imagine that you can't get something in India ..
Try, for example, RS-Components & Controls (India) Ltd.
www.rsindia.com
Part number: 198-9651

Well r u sure what you want to do
If you select the wrong type you might find things going wrong and anyway rsindia is very costly. Another place one can try is the lajpatrai market in delhi

Hi,
I think all major cities where PCB is manufactured should have vendors dealing with raw materials.
You can make BLACK BOX using UV tubelights, electrical connection is same like your normal tubelight. The same box can be used for EPROM erasing.
Ferric chloride (for etching) are readily available.
Here's a link that deals with PCB Manufacturing process. http://www.ee.cuhk.edu.hk/~ymfung/ppp/etching.html
I wonder how will you do solder mask & tin plate the PCB.
Good Luck

thanks guys....
I have two choices=== one is RS components and the other one is farnell.
But very costly.
I am now tring offset printing method...
technova sesitizer a&b and apply to copper clad board.
expose to sunlight with negative film....
devoloping the image with nova black diamond..
any other method similar to this available?.....

I'm using a positive photo resist pcb and a good sunlight to exposed it and been having a good result..
I'm using a KINSTEN Presensitized Positive (+) Acting PCB.
a 4x6" single-sided board cost about US$2.0..

Hai guys,
I have tried Photo sensitizer a&b with devoloper used for offset printing.
The first phase was successful. after exposed to sun light & devoloping the circuit tracks are perfectly devoloped in the PCB.
after cleaning with running water when putting into ferric chloride sul. every things were washed out (all tracks ).
any solution to remove only Cu part or any alternate to Ferric chloride?...
i think the sensitizer is not etch resistant..if this part works fine i think we can make very profesional PCBs in low cost.( sensitizer Rs50 (for 100ml)+ devoloper Rs 250 (for 1 litter) )

shivkrish39,
It seems that you overexposed your PCB. In direct sunlight you need around 12 seconds of exposure.
Another one thing I noticed, you didn't mention NaOH (caustic soda) usage after exposing the board to sunlight. This is used to fix your possitive spray.
Regards
P.

Hi,
but i have tried different timings starting from 10s to 3 mins.
Since i have used photo sensitizer a&b used for Offset printing plates i used black diamond devoloper for devoloping. after the image devoloped in the PCB i tried to put it in Ferric chlorid but it reacts with the complete PCB.

I tried many times to make a PCB using Positive 20 photo resist but everytime i got bad results,
I hated to use Photo resist,
and i am looking for a low cost solution away from the Peers N Pell sheets and photo resist..
Any suggestions?!

pre-sensitized boards can perhaps be bought either from RS Controls India or from Farnell India.
the spray could not be obtained when ordered, as air flying of hazardous material is not approved.
Of course, the possible best id TTS method. and it works as I made few boards.
No point in spending a moon unless you specifically need it. In few such cases , I feel , it would be better to do all your work, even make positive and negative films , and let a local manufacturer make few boards like 5, for you.

As far as I know, only photo-positive resists have been used for PCB prototyping sinces decades.
The coated PCBs available from catalog distributors are exclusively of this type.

A good alternative (i think cheep too) is a print of your layout with copier printer(laser - toner) to a glossy paper and termicaly transfered on your coper board with a common clothes iron. Search on the web or ask fore more details.
Sorry if is off topic. --- SPEED !

Thanks Raju jee
@endril, I have been already doing the toner transfer system reasonably well.
@FvM-- The dry transfer films used by industry to make prototypes, are generally negative, and i saw them being used by PCB manufacturers. with that in mind, I was asking Rajudp.

At home I make my PCB prototypes using a NEGATIVE Dry Film very similar to this one (different exposure sensitivity: 35mj):
Series 900
PDF
With film made on a Postscript printer* instead of a Gerber plotter and this type of Photoresist, I can get 6mils traces without any problem.
*) Agfa, Linotype, Scitex, ...
Just as an example of the procedure, see: http://www.instructables.com/id/Killer-PCBs/
P.S. you have to render the printer output "negative"!

Hi,
We are from China manufacturing of spray etching machines, We have developed a solution of liquid photo resist in a laboratory here for our etching customers, as photo resist from USA and other countries are very expensive
This resist has a capability to expose even a hairline, as we sell double side exposure machines also for double side PCB we can expose both sides with this Photo Resist.
We are selling this in India, for pricing and details mail us at sales(at)ideafactory.co.in

Nice Ajay jee !!
First time we are seeing this type product in India . perhaps you would be the first, if you have plan to make and sell sensitized PCBs as many hobbyists would like to have for critical layouts. This effort may be in addition to your normal business line.
Is it sold in small aerosol cans please?

This is avialble in thick liquid form, Coaing can be applied using screen frame as shown in bakground of pic
We also have thiiner density solution to be used with compressor and spray, but it would not suit you, as most of you are into hobby and we do not sell less then 1 kg,
Aerosol can is not practical for production and all of our customer concern is costing and production
About sensitised PCB will be a very small business, but using our resist you can put the resist yourself
For those who are not aware , Our resist has a shelf life of 6 months
