to simulate a monopole antenna, have you tried making a ground plane below your cylinder. look at the tutorial on making a dipole. on the x-y plane, place a ground plane.

i hav been trying to work with this sofware ( hfss) for few months.
and i am having some problems

1. i cant see copolarization and crossporalization at HFSS. eventualy, i also dont know how to fine it ? can any one help me how can i get it?

2. my far field E plane and H-plane are only at one side ( in betwee 0 to 90 degree) not in between ( 0 to 180 degree). and
my Phi start at 0 deg and stop at 90 deg. but yet i didnt get the result properly and i got the attachted result. can any friends help me to solve out.

i will be greatful if any friends can help to solve out this matter
