Hi all,
I have a problem calculating the gap capacitance of the Zeroth order resonator. I have simulated it for short circuited form and got the results but for open circuited case I think there is some mismatch problem hence the values of return loss are not matching. Can any one help me in this regard? I have used a quarterwave line for matching but there was no improvement in the result.

Can attach the Zeroth Order Resonator circuit?

Can you post a diagram or the paper whose results you are trying to reproduce?

Hi,
I have attached the paper which I referred. It consists of an open circuited Zeroth order resonator in figure 5. Can u please tell me how to find "g" in the figure 5? Should I go for even and odd impedances for the calculation of the capacitance?What is the length of the Input and the Output lines to be considered for feeding the resonator? Can u please tell me Is there any other way to find the zeroth order other than using the transition frequency? and how do we know the transition frequency from the S-parameters?
