what does it mean " .OPTIONS post=2 nomod" in Hspice?

.option nomod


This is an interface option of HSPICE
It enables storing of simulation results for analysis using the AvanWaves graphical interface or other methods. The .POST option can be used in various ways like:
.POST = 1 saves the results in binary
.POST = 2 saves the results in ASCII format
.POST = 3 saves the results in New Wave binary format.

Set the POST option, and use the .PROBE statement to specify which data you
want saved. The default value equals 1.

The NOMOD Option suppreses the printing of the model parameters in the listing file (.lis).
