I want to implement a codec using MP3 standard.
Can any one give me a help about the algorithm and this standard?
Any resourse or site?

MP3 is covered by patents in some countrys. After you sign a contract agreeing to pay lots of money I'm sure they will give you all the information you need.

i am also developing an mp3 codec. i am in the study phase now. can u explain abt the id3v2 tags.
