Hello all,
I want to make a circuit. This circuit will connect to a site through telephone line and get some data. Do you know any simple a circuit with microcontroller and internet protocol?
Thanks in advance.
Regrads.

| For a dialup internet you need a TCP/IP stack and the PPP protocol.

Do you know that protocol or any document? And do you know any integrated circuit fot that application?

If you were using TCP/IP over ethernet, then I could have suggested Wiznet. But for Dial-up, I guess you can either use a readymade controller (single board computer with some high speed processor and operating system provided) or you will have to do some serious development work.
There are dozens of docs avaialable. Just search google.

Ivan,
I understand you're astonished of ENC28J60's features, but your post comes a little bit too late for asahin11 and out of topic. He requests "This circuit will connect to a site through telephone line ". How can ENC28J60 do this job ?
If you want to deal with PPP you can try at www.nchip.com (inherited from awarded Seiko S7601, dead too early for not revealed reasons)
