12 Aug 2005 13:45 air inductor calculator mm winding |

Need to wind an 8.2 uH inductor. The insulated wires I've got, are 0.45mm,
0.5mm, 0.71 and 0.56mm. I've search the web for calculators, but no downloadable "single layer air core calculator' were to be found.
Should I rather wind an inductor with more layers. What are the advantages and disadvantages?
Any help would be apreciated
Regards
