I used cadence IC50,when I keyed "icfb&'" in the terminal,the CIW occured,but CIW menu's function startup is low,need me wait for a minute.when CIW startup was ok,I entered LIBRARY MANAGER window,it also spent my time to open any cell for the first time,then the time is fast to open each cell.
why and how to solve it ?

have u configured all the settings properly,maybe the tool is searching for a license server or someother configuration,make ur cshrc as advised in this forum,also startup time mnay depend on your ram,how much mb ram are u having on your system.

When opening icfb for the first time, it depends on license file and on your .cdsinit. If they are are large, you have to wait.
When opening cell for the first time it depends on the access time to your libraries, maybe a slow network.

We are talking about cadence here, not silicon canvass Lakers !
