Re: dsp processor?

Hi

There are hundreds of books on DSP

What is the type of application you are looking for : audio, video, motor control, data processing etc

Choose your application fields and then search for the right book !

All the best

You can just visit www.ti.com for a lot of usermanuals and application notes of TI 's DSP processor.

Hi Suvendu. If I well understand (by Your other posts) You find some book about

Systems & Techniques for DSP. Look for the follow books:

(~) Bellanger, "Digital Processing of Signals - Theory and Practice", Wiley & Sons 1986

(~) Rabiner, "Digital signal processing", IEEE Press selected reprint series 1972

(~) Gold, Rader, Oppenheim, Stockham, "Digital processing of signals", McGraw Hill 1969

(~) Oppenheim, Shafer, "Digital Signal Processing", Prentice Hall 1975

(~) Oppenheim, Schafer, Buck, "Discrete-time signal processing", Prentice Hall 1999

(#) Porat, "A Course in Digital Signal Processing", Wiley & Sons 1997

(#) Lynn, Fuerst, "Introductory digital signal processing with computer applications", Wiley & Sons 1994

Where: (~) are books about only Theory, (#) Theory and Computer Simulations

Re: dsp processor?

well the TI dsp's are the best i think at the moment.
U can use their development kit TMS3206007 or any ither.

And there is a very good by Rulph Chassassing DSP Applications using the TMS3206xxx DSK

Using a TI's DSK and this book u can make a great progress in DSP processors.

Re: dsp processor?

Please understand that the term dsp is confusing for some. The term Digital Signal Processing is very different from the term Digital Signal Processor. And this topic is about Digital Signal Processors.

It is very hard to find a book that covers digital signal processors in general. Each processor has his own architecture.

Determine which processor you want to use (TI, AD, ...) and go get the litterature (datasheet) on the manufacturer website.

Re: dsp processor?

There are many dsp vendors, whose website is of great help for learning the usage of dsp processors.
I think the doc at www.ti.com is the best.

Re: dsp processor?

I think suvendu need some text book on DSP Processors. And what i percieve he wants the design issues and architecture of DSP processors in general.
Specific to some platform then he can download the data sheet of that particular DSP like Texas Instruments, Nexperia, Equator etc.
