is it possible to attach a crystal to GAL clock input?
I want to have a 2Mhz clock input to the GAL? how can that be possible?

NO .NEIN .non.. as you said is an INPUT .. a clock oscillator requires and input and an output to oscillate .Both being at 90 degrees out of phase . here is like having a GAL connected to ground but not vcc powered .

So just use a ttl or cmos esternal oscillator
