I am planning in designing a satellite signal spectrum analyser, and am thinking of using the above display with a fast pic micro.
My thoughts are to send via the I2C bus a frequency scan in 5-6 MHz steps to cover the band, and on each step make an adc from some point on the front end (signal level), and display the results on the above display.
So, we are probably talking about 8 at the minimum full scans per sec, and some 1000+ adc conversions per second.
Would this be possible at real time?
Any thoughts would be most helpfull
Cheers

The GLCD that I have is KS0108B based, with part no. CRN-12864C
In the optical charactaristics of the LCD section, are 120mS rise time and 240mS fall time.
