well im doing project on codec. Do anyone have basic codec information especially on audio codec. It would be helpful if explaination done hw raw voice signal from mike change into digital form on codec IC.

I suggest you .. find some open project codec f.e. lama MP3 codec(i think that its open project) or some similar ... ok sorry if Im not answer on your question... but maybe its little good suggestion

P.S. i know that i saw some ebook about codec and if ill find some of it ill be post ...

Hi komi he is talking about the hardware audio codec chip not the software compression codec like mp3,oog etc .
codec ic is nothing put a successive approximation adc whose sampling rate is fixed at standard audio frequencies so it will be running at prefixed sampling rate fixed by either hardware pin or software configurable in their control registers (mostly through SPI Port) so you have to read from the adc (codec) at regular interval either by a interrupt or software scheduling.
