I want to do research in the domain of digital circuit test for Ph D,
But I can't sure which topic is hot in the domain of digital circuit test now?
Test compression; N-detect ;ATPG ;Fault simultion ; BIST; DFT; or others.
Can you give me some useful advices?

| did you search in famous university websites ? it seem be the best way . you can find good subjects in researchment section of every famous university .

just search in berkely university,
bucknell university,
indian institutie of science
washington university
UMBC university
stanford university..
i think from this websites u will get a clear idea of selecting projects..all the topics u r mentioned is in back end side..and try to do some research work in new evolving langauges like systemverilog and systemC
