usb mass storage

I intend to develop a FPGA based data logger where the storage media is compact flash and the pc interface is through USB.
The entire system is centered around the NIOS soft CPU from ALTERA.
I am using the cypress for thcy7c68001 chip e USB interface
My product also contains a FAT 12 system installled.
My problem is how to proceed with writing the code for the cypress chip so that my entire device behaves like a mass storage device.
i.e what are the requests coming from the host and how i should respond to these.
Where can i get some information about the same.
