I think it's a simple MOS Transistor comparator, nothing particular.

I don't think there have another explain for the MOST, but I puzzled why no he use a 'CMOS comparator ..'description. ?????

If MOST is MOS this is a simple explaination about mos comparator:
A mos comparator is a circuit that is implemented by MOS transistor and is used to compare any signal with a reference one
