How could I make custom model in orcad pspice when I have *.mod file from manufacturer (see attachment)? Component is high side current monitor.
I tried ti import it in schematics but it is not supported. Importing in capture results with unusable model.
I need to know (from *mod file what is template for that component.

If someone have some models of current monitors (*.slb library) please send it.

Sorry, but you need login in to view this attachment

Hi,

The file you get has a .mod extension. pSpice only recognizes library files with .lib extension. Try to rename the file you have with a .lib extension as the syntax of the model seams to be correct (It includes directives like "LOT/UNIFORM" and "DEV/GAUSS" which are used for Mote Carlo analysis).

You also need to :

- add this new .lib file in the library list.
- create a schematic drawing for the component in a .slb file with the model editor(starting from a existing one is easier).
