how to convert GDS2 --> CIF format ?
if I want to use microwind read GDS layout database

There are a lot of programs you can use to view a GDSII layout. I recommend StreamVista by Semigy Designs (available for free at www.semigy.com).
If you are looking to get a netlist from a GDSII file without any technology file (as mentioned in one of your other recent posts), then good luck. You can't get a reliable netlist from a GDSII file unless you have the technology file set up for the process.
Why would you want a netlist from a GDSII file when you don't know anything about the process?

1. as I remember "StreamVista" I use really GDS file , but display multi player
cause display strange .. I ever use Tanner Ledit9 or mycad mychip5 ..
I think ledit /mychip is better , but they not free ..
StreamVista --> not good for me ..
2. microwind support schenatic + sim + layout .. I think it is good tool
on PC for design analog chip ..
so , I need some tools can convert GDS2 <-> CIF .. and free
as I know , mychip have tool can convert , but I don't know which freeware tool
can do GDS2 <--> CIF format change ..
3. I also ever use use dolphin some gds display tool , but GDS viewer only "view"
sometime I will modify layout

| you can use calibredrv display GDSII,it can display a lot of process.
