can anyone guide me ....i want to do a Line follower robot using 8051 controlller....want to program it for any paths...(line not only closed...but wen two line are encounterd it shud chose b/w them.....wen line ends it shud comeback and chose the other path as well)..

Ashok,

from what I see from all your posts here.. you have not yet made any bost so far ?

Concentrate first on making a bot using only comparator/opamp + HBridge...

Then move onto 8051 etc...

actually ive done a line follower using 89c51rd2 mc...
tat was for my college mini project... but i dont hav a clear idea on how 2 burn the flash in 89c51....

Your college MUST be having a programmer for 8051.. use that.

The program is compliled and the resultant hex file is burnt in to the 89C51 chip with a programmer which comes with a programmer software. You may have a look at www.united77.com/89programmer.htm. Cheers
